- Send a FREE replacement (same item)

- OR issue a full refund to original payment method

- Cover all shipping costs for warranty replacements

Our warranty does NOT cover:

❌ Chewing Damag 

Damage from your dog chewing or biting the product

❌ Normal Wear & Tear

Fading, pilling, or general wear from regular use over time

❌ Tethering & Tie-Out Damage

Damage from staking, tethering, zip-lines, or attaching to any fixed anchor — forces far exceed harness design limits

❌ Misuse

Damage from improper use, storage, or care

❌ Accidents

Damage from car accidents, falls, or other incidents

❌ Improper Cleaning

Damage from washing incorrectly or using harsh chemicals

❌ Modifications

Products altered, modified, or repaired by anyone other than Leader K9

🚫 Tethering Safety Notice:
Leader K9 does not recommend tethering, as it can create serious safety risks such as tangling, choking, and heavy force when a dog lunges against a fixed point. The impact can far exceed what a standard walking harness is designed to handle.
Our harnesses are made for leash walking only, and any damage caused by tethering or tie-outs is not covered under warranty.

⚠️ Important: The most common warranty denial is chewing damage. Keep harnesses stored safely when not in use!

Subject: "Warranty Claim – [Your Order Number]"

2. Include the following:
• Order number
• Photos clearly showing the defect
• Brief description of what happened
• When you first noticed the issue

3. We review your claim
Our team will review within 1–3 business days and determine if it's covered

4. Receive your replacement or refund
If approved, choose replacement (we ship immediately) or refund (processed to original payment)

Proper care helps your Leader K9 gear last longer and prevents warranty issues:

Harness Care

Wash: Hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle

Detergent: Use mild detergent, avoid bleach

Dry: Air dry — do NOT use dryer

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from pets when not in use

Inspection: Regularly check buckles and stitching before each use

 

Car Seat Cover Care

Wash: Machine wash cold on gentle cycle

Dry: Tumble dry low or air dry

Spot clean: For quick cleanup between washes

Vacuum: Remove pet hair regularly

⚠️ Warranty Void: Using bleach, high heat, or harsh chemicals may void your warranty if it causes damage.

You'll need proof of purchase to file a warranty claim:

  • Order confirmation email
  • Order number
  • Receipt or invoice

Return Shipping

  • We cover all return shipping costs for defective items.
  • You will pay the return shipping cost if you change your mind or for issues unrelated to product defects.

Processing Time

  • Claim review: 1–3 business days
  • Replacement shipping: 3–8 business days (USA)
  • Refund processing: 5–10 business days to your bank
